What cookies are
Cookies are small files your browser stores on your device. We also use browser local and session storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which works in a similar way and is subject to the same rules.
This policy complements the privacy policy. We apply the European standard of prior consent to all visitors: analytics only run if you accept them.
Technical and necessary
They make the site work and remember what you have chosen. They do not require consent and cannot be disabled from the preference center.
- ingenia-lang (cookie, 12 months): remembers the language you chose.
- ingenia-consent (cookie and localStorage, 12 months): stores your analytics choice, with its date, so we do not ask again.
- ingenia_seen (sessionStorage, until you close the tab): avoids replaying the intro animation in the same visit.
- ingenia-brief-fingerprint (sessionStorage, until you close the tab): random identifier that limits abuse of the brief generator.
- ingenia-attribution-session (sessionStorage, until you close the tab): origin of your visit (UTM, landing page, and referrer). If you submit a form, it is attached to your message so we know how you found us.
Analytics, with your consent only
They are activated only if you accept the analytics category. They help us understand which pages are visited, which buttons work, and how to improve the site.
- ph_…_posthog (PostHog cookie and localStorage, up to 12 months): anonymous browser identifier to measure site usage. We do not record sessions or identify you by name or email.
- ingenia-attribution (localStorage, until you clear it): first origin of your visit, to learn which channels bring us projects.
- Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights: measure aggregate visits and performance. They do not use cookies.
- Our own counters: record events such as clicks or form submissions in aggregate form, with no personal identifiers, for 90 days.
Third-party cookies
We do not embed social networks, videos, or advertising that set third-party cookies. Analytics providers only work after your consent, and their use is described in the privacy policy.
How to manage your consent
On your first visit you will see a banner to accept analytics, reject them, or configure them. Until you decide, analytics stay off.
You can change your choice at any time with the cookie icon in the footer (“Cookie preferences”). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
How to delete or block them in your browser
You can block or delete cookies and site data from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and the rest allow it). If you clear storage, we will ask you about analytics again.
Blocking technical cookies may prevent us from remembering your language or your cookie choice.
Changes to this policy
If we add or remove cookies or tools, we will update this page and its date. If the change affects analytics, we will ask for your consent again.
